Lasuco is accelerating export activities to the islamic market

The Islamic market is among the most demanding in the world, with strict requirements covering every stage from production to transportation. Beyond food safety and hygiene, the market imposes strict prohibitions on substances banned under Islamic law, including alcohol, animal fats, and other restricted components.

Lasuco began exporting to the Islamic market 15 years ago. Today, products from the company’s sugarcane portfolio account for up to 40% of its total export volume to this market. This achievement stems from Lasuco’s early efforts to study and improve product quality to meet Halal certification standards, helping to elevate the Lasuco brand on the global stage.
